Right from the beginning TeX folks have been building a community by sharing work. You can use the material here on CTAN -- most of it is without restriction. Keep up with the latest contributions on our CTAN announcements list. No doubt you will learn from the comp.text.tex discussion group. And, you can join a users group; for most of them you get a journal, some software on CD-ROM, and the satisfaction of being with a group of good people doing good work.

If you have developed some TeX-related material then you can share back with the TeX community by uploading it. You can help CTAN out by running a CTAN mirror. A less taxing way to express your appreciation is to make a monetary contribution -- small efforts add up!
